Agenda
12:30-1:00pm – Registration and Networking
1:00pm-1:30pm – What’s new in Web Intelligence in BI 2025
Roxanne Pittman, InfoSol Inc.
SAP BI 2025 comes packed with long-awaited innovations, customer-requested features, and usability enhancements. With a whole new set of UI5 charts, tables, filters and interactive features, this latest version of Web Intelligence adds some great new options for Reporting, Dashboards and offline sharing. Along with further enhancements to Data Mode, Webi in BI 2025 continues to lead the BI reporting space. Join us to explore some of these new features.
1:30pm-2:00pm – Element Linking in Web Intelligence 4.3
Runali Ghosh, InfoSol Inc.
Element Linking is a feature that enables interaction between tables and charts in a way that classic Webi reports could not previously do. While it opens up the door for designing dashboards using Webi it also makes reporting and analysis more engaging and avoids the need to export data into excel for drilling and filtering. This session will show you how to use Element Linking as well as show an example case study of its effective usage.
2:00pm-2:20pm – Break
2:20pm-2:50pm – Real World Use case for Webi Data Tab Mode
Roxanne Pittman, InfoSol Inc.
Sometimes report requirements can get quite convoluted. This session will show two actual real-world scenarios of how the new Webi Data Mode was used to solve complex report requirements that merging data in the traditional method would not support.
2:50pm-3:20pm – How to do Write Back and AI in BusinessObjects Web Intelligence
Gemini Boudrie, InfoSol Inc.
A lot of people have asked if it is possible to do write back or use AI in Web Intelligence. For the first time, we can now answer yes to both items. This fascinating session will show that by using the Custom Elements feature in Web Intelligence, it is possible to integrate components in Webi reports to do both Write Back and AI.
